Show Me The Bud!
So, we all know T.O. is a complete waste of talent in human form. He's a jackass beyond the normal jackass. What about the uber-talented Randy Moss? What did he do?
If you recall, he tried to run over a cop in Minneapolis. She tried to give him a ticket or something for turning down a one-way street (I really don't remember the details, I'm just pulling this crap from the air). Anyway, he tried to run her over. Dumb. He gets into squabbles and bickers with management and other players and NEVER plays 100% for an entire game. He readily admits that he takes plays off (basically, he's a lazy fuck that makes millions of dollars).
Now, this moron decides to do an interview and admits he smokes dope on occassion and has done so since the time he entered the league. Now, if someone wants to smoke some herb, by all means go for it. I've tried it (didn't much like it... just made me hungry and tired at the same time). It's sort of the illegal version of beer. I don't do it, but I have friends who do and it's not a big issue with me. The point is, he's a multi-millionaire that has kids watching him and is in a profession that SUPPOSEDLY monitors this crap. Now, if he's been smoking bud the entire time he's been playing, either he has one of those whizzinators that he hasn't been caught with or the NFL really doesn't test. Regardless of that, he admits this crap and is risking his career.
Ricky Williams is another prime example of an idiot athlete. None of these fuckheads realize exactly how blessed they are. They take it all for granted. I tell you what, let me trade places with any one of these sorry fucks and I'll show you a person that RESPECTS what he's been given. I'd be doing charity work, setting up trust funds... generally just helping people. I'd live comfortably, don't get me wrong, but I guarantee I could get by on less than $1 Mil a year (which would include saving money for my future and my kid's future) and I'd basically donate the rest. Figure you make $6.5 Million a year like T.O., keep $1 Mil of that a year and do some good with the rest of it... this world would be in alot better shape if more people did that.
Anyway, I'm tired of overpaid, whiny athletes complaining about money and the "man" keeping them down. Get a grip on reality, have some values and be a good person. Too many of them are spoiled brats that need a dose of reality. Unfortunately, I doubt it will ever happy for most of them.
